School of Kingdom Ministry is all about seeing people made whole. It is about becoming more sensitive in recognizing the Holy Spirit's voice. It is about becoming confidant that God can and will use you to minister to others with spiritual gifts. Meeting one evening a week for almost nine months, students are given the opportunity to learn about, engage with and be a part of God's plan for touching the lives of the people in the real world around them.
In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul outlines gifts that God gives to build each other up and enable us to live the fullness of life that He has designed for us. Paul puts it this way in verse 7-11:
A demonstration of the Spirit is given to each person to produce what is beneficial: to one is given a message of wisdom through the Spirit, to another, a message of knowledge by the same Spirit, to another, faith by the same Spirit, to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another, the performing of miracles, to another, prophecy, to another, distinguishing between spirits, to another, different kinds of languages, to another interpretation of languages. But one and the same Spirit is active in all these, distributing to each person as He wills.
It seems Paul wants to make it clear that all of these things are the work of the Holy Spirit. They are simply distributed to various people to fit the needs of the moment. It is also evident that God wants to work in us and through us in supernatural ways so that we can grow closer to Him, find healing for the broken areas in our lives, and see the same happen in the lives of those around us.
What to Expect
School of Kingdom ministry provides a safe place to grow in this type of ministry. It is a place to engage with other people seeking the same thing: to get better at hearing and working with the Holy Spirit. The teaching in each class is dynamic, inspiring, strongly anchored in the Bible and does an excellent job of placing these spiritual concepts in real-life contexts so that we know better what to expect and how to respond when we see God working around us.
If you are looking for a meaningful next step in your spiritual growth journey or simply feel that you would like to be better equipped to make a difference for Jesus, we strongly encourage you to consider being a part of our next School of Kingdom Ministry class.
